Commencement setup/pathway closures at Lower Campus and College Walk - May 4 to May 6

Beginning tomorrow (Thursday, May 4) through Saturday, May 6, the two north-south perimeter pathways between Butler Lawn and the South Fields will be closed periodically to facilitate safe setup of stages, seating, and tents on the lawns. During these periods, the north-south pathways along Furnald and Hamilton lawns will remain open, with access to the College Walk ramps.

Additionally, the College Walk south pedestrian path and Centennial Path (the east-west pathway immediately south of College Walk) will be closed from Thursday, May 4 through Saturday, May 6. During this time, the College Walk main and/or north pedestrian walkways and the east-west crossing in front of Butler Library will remain accessible.

As we shared previously, throughout all Commencement setup, the Dodge Hall elevator from College Walk and the Kent Hall College Walk entrance will both remain accessible as usual (as a reminder, the Kent Hall entrance is available only during building hours).

Please contact us at [email protected] if you encounter disruptions to accessible routes or if you have any questions concerning access during this time. We appreciate your understanding.
