Waste Management offers a free year-round drop-off location for disposing of computers, printers, monitors and other electronic equipment at the Grove at W. 119th Street and Amsterdam Ave.
Movers are available to pick up equipment for disposal at an hourly labor rate.
Examples of bulk-item computer equipment include:
- Computers, PCs, CPUs (the department requesting disposal is responsible for removing all personal data prior to discarding.)
- Printers
- Scanners
- Monitors
- Keyboards
- Cables
- Fax Machines
- Photocopiers
- Typewriters
