The Plumbing Shop is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the campus gas line. Service on central, public-use gas systems and associated piping, valves, and hardware is a common cost (non-chargeable) service. Maintenance and repair of private-use gas systems dedicated to a department and its associated piping, valves, and hardware is billed at an hourly labor rate, plus the cost of materials.
