How to Reserve Event Support

Engage our team using the guidelines below:

Our team helps provide event support services for events in all outdoor spaces and many indoor venues, but we do not reserve space.

The first step in planning your event is booking space on campus.

  • For an event in any venue not managed by Event Management (such as the International Affairs Building, Pulitzer Hall and other buildings managed by a specific school), please discuss event needs with the appropriate venue manager. Not sure who the venue manager is? Consult this list or try visiting the website of the school that manages the building you are looking to hold your event to find a contact person or online web reservation system.

After your space is booked, ask the Event Management representative or venue manager that you are working with if you need to contact our office to arrange for support services such as cleaning services, table/chair rentals and more. Support services for all outdoor and most indoor spaces are managed through our team, but there are some that are not, so be sure to ask your Event Management representative or venue manager. Service requests for special event support may be requested online by visiting servicerequest.cuf.columbia.edu/.

If you need to cancel Facilities support services, please notify the Events Administration team directly at [email protected] at least one  business day prior to the start of your event. While we do our best to accommodate all event updates, it may not be possible to accommodate revision requests received the same day as the event.
