Low Pathway Project – Additional Pathway Closure and Upper Campus Detour

Please note that the reconstruction of the brick pathway and associated drainage improvements in front of Low Library are extending west beyond the flagpole to the path toward Dodge Hall. To accommodate this work, the north-south pathway leading to the west side of Low Library is closed at Dodge Plaza. Pedestrian traffic seeking to travel north-south will need to detour using the paths adjacent to Dodge Hall, Lewisohn Hall, and Earl Hall. A temporary ramp has been installed at the steps in front of Dodge Hall to facilitate disability access for this detour. Directional signs are posted on site. Reference the attached map for the closure location and alternate route.

This closure and pedestrian detour will be in place for approximately two weeks, weather permitting, after which time the area will reopen with a flag person directing pedestrian traffic for safety as materials are transported between the staging site at Lewisohn Lawn and the project site. Additionally, there will be intermittent closures while the brick pavers are installed.
